WELCOME To , THE FOUR THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN PURCHASING AN OZONE GENERATOR
Gas Feed From Generator
The gas feed that can be used is liquid oxygen (LOX), compressed oxygen, dry air or air oxygen concentrates.Liquid and compressed oxygen are purchased oxygen. The production process used makes it very dry.
The liquid form stores more volume than the compressed gas. Hence compress the gas is not suitable for generators that work for long hours. Liquid oxygen is very economical if it is close to the production plant.Initially, the air was mostly used as the feed gas.It contains about 20% oxygen transformed to ozone at an utmost economic concentration of about 3 weight percent.
To avoid damage and moisture reducing the ozone, the air has to be very dry to a measure of the dew point of -100 degrees Fahrenheit. Frozen dryers on some compressors merely reach a dewpoint of -40 degrees Fahrenheit. If a feed gas has an oxygen concentration higher than 90%, it enables the ozone concentration to rise to the 5-10% range.
